Le Brésil mené par Danilo, est dans le dernier carré de la CDM U20
La Coupe du Monde U20 se déroule actuellement en Nouvelle-Zélande. Deux joueurs brésiliens passés par le Festival International Espoirs sont encore en course pour remporter ce prestigieux trophée.
Il s’agit de Danilo et Marcos, qui ont respectivement gagné le Festival Espoirs en 2013 et en 2014. Les deux joueurs connaissent des fortunes diverses dans ce Mondial U20. Danilo, joueur du SC Braga, est un élément important de la « Seleçao » puisqu’il en est le capitaine. En revanche, Marcos, évoluant à Fluminense, est le gardien remplaçant et n’a pas disputé la moindre minute dans cette Coupe du Monde.
A noter que le Brésil a terminé premier de son groupe et a ensuite éliminé l’Uruguay en huitièmes de finale puis le Portugal en quart de finale pour accéder au dernier carré. Danilo et les siens affrontent le Sénégal ce mercredi pour le compte des demi-finales de la Coupe du Monde U20.

Two Brazilians players who took part in the Toulon Tournament are still competing in the U-20 World Cup which takes place in New Zealand. These players are Danilo and Marcos, who won the Toulon Tournament in 2013 and 2014 respectively.
The two young Brazilians are not in the same situation. Danilo, the SC Braga player, is the captain of the “Seleçao” and he’s a key member of the squad while Marcos, the Fluminense goalkeeper, is the second-choice keeper.
It should be noted that the Brazilians finished first of its group. Then, Brazil won against Uruguay in the Round of 16 and beat Portugal during the quarter-finals. Wednesday, Brazil will face Senegal in the U-20 World Cup semi-finals.
