Ce dimanche soir, le Mexique a remporté sa septième Gold Cup en venant à bout de la Jamaique (3-1) en finale.
Trois joueurs passés par le Festival International Espoirs étaient titulaires du côté mexicain : Guillermo Ochoa, Diego Reyes ainsi que Jesus Corona, la révélation du Festival 2013.
Ce dernier a d’ailleurs marqué le deuxième but de sa formation juste après la reprise grâce à un tir du pied gauche à l’entrée de la surface. A noter également que Jesus Corona, attaquant du FC Twente, a été élu meilleur jeune joueur de cette Gold Cup.

This Sunday night, Mexico won its seventh Gold Cup as El Tri defeated Jamaica 3-1 in the final.
Three Toulon Tournament former players were in the Mexico’s starting line-up : Guillermo Ochoa, Diego Reyes and Jesus Corona, the 2013 Toulon Tournament breakthrough player.
This latter scored the second goal of his team during the second half with a left-footed shot from the edge of the box. Also, It should be noted that Jesus Corona, the FC Twente forward, was named best young player of this Gold Cup.
