River Plate s’est adjugé la troisième Copa Libertadores de son histoire en balayant Tigres UANL lors de la finale retour (3-0), ce mercredi soir.
Gabriel Mercado, passé par le Festival International Espoirs 2006, a aidé les Millonarios à remporter ce trophée. Le défenseur argentin a marqué deux buts durant la compétition : un but face à Juan Aurich en phase de groupes et un autre face à Guarani en demi-finales.

Mercado wins the Copa Libertadores with River Plate
River Plate clinched the third Copa Libertadores of their history as they hammered Tigres UANL (3-0) during the final second leg, this Wednesday night.
Gabriel Mercado, who took part in the 2006 Toulon Tournament, helped the Millonarios to win this trophy. The Argentinian defender has scored two goals during the competition : one goal against Juan Aurich during the group stage and another one against Guarani during the semi-finals.
