L’année remarquable de Mercado avec River Plate
Gabriel Mercado, passé par le Festival International Espoirs 2006, se souviendra longtemps de cette année 2015. Le défenseur argentin a tout d’abord remporté la Recopa Sudamericana en février avant de s’adjuger la prestigieuse Copa Libertadores en août. Grâce à ses performances avec River Plate, le joueur de 28 ans a également effectué son retour sur la scène internationale puisqu’il a pris part à la victoire (1-0) de l’Argentine face à la Colombie cette semaine lors des éliminatoires de la Coupe du Monde 2018. Une année fructueuse !

The Mercado’s remarkable year with River Plate
Gabriel Mercado, who took part in the 2006 Toulon Tournament, will not forget this year. Firstly, the Argentinean defender has won the Recopa Sudamericana in February before to clinch the prestigious Copa Libertadores in August. Thanks to his performances with River Plate, the 28-year-old has also makes his return to the international fold as he took part in the Argentina win over Colombia (1-0) in the 2018 World Cup qualifier during this week.
