Ayala, Aquino, Briseno et Rivas champions du Mexique !

Les Tigres ont été sacrés champions du Mexique ce week-end. Après avoir gagné le match aller (3-0), les Tigres ont été battus (1-4) par Pumas lors du match retour. Finalement la formation mexicaine s’est emparée du titre au bout de la séance de penaltys (4-2 pen).
Plusieurs joueurs passés par le Festival International Espoirs ont pris part à ce succès. Les défenseurs José Rivas (2005) et Hugo Ayala (2006) était titulaires du côté de Tigres lors de ce match retour tout comme le milieu offensif Javier Aquino (2012). Enfin, le défenseur Antonio Briseno (2014) est entré en jeu à la 68e minute.
C’est le 4e championnat du Mexique remporté par les Tigres.

Ayala, Aquino, Briseno and Rivas crowned champions of Mexico !
The Tigres were crowned champions of Mexico this week-end. After winning the first leg (3-0), the Tigres were defeated (1-4) by Pumas in the second leg. Finally, the Mexican side clinched the title after the penalty shootout (4-2 pen).
Several Toulon Tournament former players took part in this success. The defenders José Rivas (2005) and Hugo Ayala (2006) were in the Tigres’ starting line-up for this second leg. Same thing for the attacking midfielder Javier Aquino (2012) while the defender Antonio Briseno (2014) came off the bench after 68 minutes.
It’s the 4th championship title won by Tigres in their history.
