Mauro Zarate, passé par le Festival International Espoirs en 2006, quitte West Ham. L’Argentin s’est engagé avec la Fiorentina, actuellement 4e de Serie A. Le joueur de 28 ans a paraphé un contrat de deux ans et demi avec la Viola. Le montant du transfert est estimé à 2 M€.
Cette saison, Zarate avait disputé 21 matchs toutes compétitions confondues avec West Ham et avait marqué 5 buts.

Zarate joins Fiorentina
Mauro Zarate, who took part in the 2006 Toulon Tournament, leaves West Ham. The Argentinian has joined Fiorentina, currently 4th of the Serie A, on a permanent deal. The 28-year-old has agreed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Viola. The transfer fee is believed to be around €2m.
This season, Zarate has played 21 games in all competitions with West Ham and scored 5 goals.
