La Colombie bat les Etats-Unis et se qualifie pour les JO 2016 !
24 ans après sa dernière participation en 1992, la Colombie va de nouveau prendre part aux Jeux Olympiques ! Après le match nul (1-1) réalisé à Baranquilla la semaine dernière, la Colombie a vaincu les Etats-Unis (2-1) à Frisco durant le match retour disputé ce mercredi. La Colombie a pris l’avantage grâce à Roger Martinez après 30 minutes de jeu mais les Américains recollaient au score peu avant l’heure de jeu suite au but contre son camp de Deiver Machado (57’). Cependant, Roger Martinez inscrivait, quelques minutes plus tard, son second but du match afin d’assurer aux Cafeteros une victoire précieuse (64’).
Grâce à ce succès, les Colombiens se sont emparés de la dernière place qualificative pour Rio. A noter que la formation sud-américaine prendra part au Tournoi de Toulon (18-29 mai) afin de se préparer pour les JO !
