Le Middlesbrough de Gibson et Nugent décroche la montée en Premier League !
Après sept années passées à évoluer à l’échelon inférieur, Middlesbrough va remonter en Premier League puisque Boro termine à la 2e place de Championship (deuxième division anglaise).
Dans l’effectif de Middlesbrough, nous pouvons noter la présence de deux joueurs passés par le Tournoi de Toulon : le défenseur Ben Gibson (Tournoi de Toulon 2014) et l’attaquant David Nugent (Tournoi de Toulon 2005). Les deux joueurs ont aidé la formation de Championship à retrouver l’élite anglaise puisque Gibson a disputé 33 matchs de championnat (1 but) tandis que Nugent a pris part à 38 rencontres (8 buts).
