Bradley Wright-Phillips, la légende des New York Red Bulls
En l’espace de trois saisons, Bradley Wright-Phillips, passé par le Tournoi de Toulon en 2005, s’est fait un nom aux Etats-Unis. Depuis qu’il a rejoint les New York Red Bulls en 2013 en provenance de Charlton, l’attaquant de 31 ans a montré sa capacité à être redoutablement efficace devant les buts.
Mieux, Wright-Phillips est entré dans la légende du club cette saison en devenant le meilleur buteur de l’histoire des New York Red Bulls en MLS : l’Anglais affiche désormais un total de 69 buts inscrits en 112 rencontres de championnat disputés avec le club new-yorkais. Aucun joueur dans toute l’histoire de la Major League Soccer n’avait marqué autant de buts en l’espace de trois saisons !
