Omar Abdulrahman et Al Ain en finale de la Ligue des Champions asiatique !
Al Ain atteint la finale de la Ligue des Champions asiatique pour la première fois depuis 2005 après avoir battu El Jaish (Qatar) en demi-finales (victoire 5-3 en score cumulé). La formation des Emirats Arabes Unis peut notamment remercier Omar Abdulrahman qui fut dans une forme stratosphérique contre le club qatari.
L’international émirati (54 sélections, 7 buts), passé par le Tournoi de Toulon en 2009, a joué un rôle majeur dans cette qualification puisqu’il a marqué un superbe coup franc et délivré une passe décisive lors du match aller (3-1) avant d’inscrire un but crucial au match retour (2-2).
Considéré comme l’un des plus grands talents d’Asie, le milieu offensif de 25 ans a montré l’étendue de son talent lors de ce rendez-vous important. Reste à conclure le travail face à la formation coréenne des Jeonbuk Motors en finale (19 et 26 novembre).
