Biteco et Chapecoense en finale de la Copa Sudamericana pour la première fois de leur histoire !
Quel parcours magique ! En 2009, Chapecoense évoluait en 4e division brésilienne. 7 ans plus tard, le club basé à Chapecó atteint la finale de la Copa Sudamericana (l’équivalent de l’Europa League en Amérique du Sud) pour la première fois de son histoire !
Le club brésilien a réalisé cette prouesse en venant à bout de San Lorenzo (Argentine) en demi-finales grâce à la fameuse règle du but à l’extérieur (1-1 au match aller, 0-0 au match retour).
Matheus Biteco, vainqueur du Festival International Espoirs 2013, a joué un grand rôle dans ce parcours puisque le milieu de 21 ans a été titularisé à 6 reprises en Copa Sudemaricana cette saison. En finale, Chapecoense affrontera l’Atletico Nacional. Le match aller aura lieu le 30 novembre en Colombie, le match retour se disputera le 07 décembre au Brésil.
