L’Angola veut briller lors du Festival International Espoirs 2017
21 ans après sa dernière participation au Festival International Espoirs, l’Angola est de retour dans le sud de la France cette année. Et visiblement, la sélection africaine a l’intention de frapper un grand coup. C’est du moins le message véhiculé par Adão Costa, le vice-président de la Fédération Angolaise de Football (FAF).
"Le Tournoi de Toulon est une compétition faisant partie du sommet de la hiérarchie du football mondial. […] Ce tournoi est une vitrine du football international qui doit nous servir à projeter l’image du pays et à obtenir des résultats qui peuvent avoir une influence sur notre classement au niveau international", a-t-il notamment affirmé à Agência Angola Press (ANGOP).
Pour rappel, l’Angola affrontera l’Angleterre, le Japon et Cuba dans le groupe B du Festival International Espoirs 2017.
