Patron de la défense des Young Three Lions, Joe Worrall représente l'archétype du défenseur moderne. Le joueur de Nottingham Forest (D2 Anglaise) possède un solide physique couplé à une technique au-dessus de la moyenne. Dans le sillage de leur coach Neil Dewsnip, les Anglais ont remporté un deuxième Festival International Espoirs d'affilée et c'est tout naturellement que Captain Worrall est élu deuxième meilleur joueur du Tournoi Maurice Revello tant il a dominé les attaquants adversaires. Cette récompense individuelle lui permet d'intégrer notre équipe type de la compétition.
