George Thomas s’engage avec Leicester City !
Seulement deux mois après avoir disputé le Festival International Espoirs 2017 avec le Pays de Galles, George Thomas passe à la vitesse supérieure en rejoignant un club de Premier League !
Leicester City, champion d’Angleterre en 2016, a annoncé sur son site internet la signature de l’international gallois U20 pour une durée de trois ans. L’attaquant polyvalent de 20 ans arrive en provenance de Coventry City (League One) où il s’est distingué la saison dernière en marquant 9 buts en 36 apparitions toutes compétitions confondues.
Parallèlement à ses performances avec Coventry City, Thomas s’est également fait remarquer lors du Festival cet été avec le Pays de Galles. Auteur de deux buts dans la compétition (voir la vidéo ci-dessous), Thomas a été nommé dans l’équipe-type du tournoi.
