Radamel Falcao, « El Tigre » is back

After a difficult 2014-2015 season with Manchester United and a disappointing 2015-2016 campaign with Chelsea, Radamel Falcao came back this summer at AS Monaco. The 30-year-old forward made the right choice as he got back to his best.

The Colombian striker, who took part in the Toulon Tournament 2004, has netted 9 goals in 11 games in all competitions with AS Monaco since the start to the season. Falcao is particularly impressive in Ligue 1 as he scored 5 goals in only 336 minutes played which equates to a goal every 67 minutes !

Thanks to his performances, Falcao earned a recall to the Colombia squad this month for the World Cup 2018 qualifiers against Chile and Argentina. It’s a reward for the AS Monaco who wasn’t selected by the head coach José Pekerman during one year.
