During the friendly against Ivory Coast (0-0) on this Tuesday, three players who took part in the Toulon Tournament made their international debut for France.
Adrien Rabiot (Toulon Tournament 2014 runner-up) was in the France’s starting line-up and played 78 minutes. Then, the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder was replaced due to injury by Thomas Lemar (Toulon Tournament 2015 winner) who earned his first international cap too.
Benoït Costil (Toulon Tournament 2007 winner) was handed too his France international debut in this friendly. After more than 29 years of waiting, the Stade Rennais goalkeeper has had his chance at the international level and distinguished himself as he made a brilliant save during the last minutes of the game !
