Impressive with AS Monaco since the start to the season, Thomas Lemar has been called up to the France squad for the first time of his career after Kingsley Coman withdrew from the team through injury.
The 20-year old attacking midfielder distinguished himself this season as he netted 4 goals and delivered 1 assist in 10 Ligue 1 games. Lemar has also scored his first Champion’s League goal in September during the AS Monaco’s 2-1 win over Tottenham.
Lemar has won the Toulon Tournament 2015 with France alongside Presnel Kimpembe as well as Enzo Crivelli.
