Granada are currently bottom of La Liga table with only 4 points in 11 league games. Despite the Granada’s struggles, one player has distinguished himself since the start to the season : Uche Agbo.

The 20-year-old defender, who took part in the Toulon Tournament 2013, established himself as a Granada’s key player as he already played 687 minutes in La Liga during this current campaign, the 4th highest tally of his team.

His performances with Granada allowed him to earn his first Nigeria call-up in October. However, Agbo was an used substitute against Zambia (2-1), but he will have another opportunity to make his international debut this month as he has been selected for the World Cup 2018 qualifier against Algeria (November 12)
