The Jeremain Lens’ resurgence with Fenerbahçe

It seems like Jeremain Lens, who took part in the Toulon Tournament 2007, made the right choice in joining Fenerbahçe this summer on a season-long loan deal from Sunderland. After a disappointing 2015-2016 campaign with Sunderland (20 games played, including only 14 as a starter and 3 goals), the 28-year-old got back to his best with Fenerbahçe this season.

The Dutch international (31 capes, 8 goals), is shining with the Istanbul-based club as he tops Turkish league assists charts with 4 assists in as many games. Now, the Lens’ next challenge will be to force his way back into the Netherlands national team. His last cap with the Oranje was on 13 October 2015 against Czech Republic (2-3) in a Euro 2016 qualifier.
