Thomas Lemar netted first Champion’s League goal

What a night ! Thomas Lemar, winner of the 2015 Toulon Tournament, has scored his first Champion’s League goal on this Wednesday night during the Monaco win over Tottenham (2-1). It was a little bit unexpected as the France U21 international wasn’t in the Monaco’s starting line-up.

However, the French attacking midfielder came off the bench after 5 minutes due to the Nabil Dirar’s injury. The Stade Malherbe de Caen former player has taken this opportunity to distinguish himself : Lemar has sent a powerful shot into to the net from close range after 31 minutes.
