They did it again ! Chile won their second Copa America in a row after beating Argentina during the final (0-0, 4-2 pen) on this Sunday. Eduardo Vargas, winner of the Toulon Tournament 2009, played a key role in this success as the Hoffenheim forward finished top scorer of this edition with 6 goals.
Now, Vargas is the Chile’s all time joint-top goalscorer in the Copa America with 10 goals scored in this competition during his career (4 in 2015 and 6 in 2016). Only Enrique Hormazábal reached this tally for Chile before Vargas.
