Carlos Paredes (Paraguay head coach) : "Players followed instructions"

"We made a mistake in the beggining of the game which cost us a goal whereas we started well the game. Fortunately, we stayed focused and could quickly reverse the trend. Players followed instructions. The wind was strong but it didn't disturb us a lot because I ask my team to keep the ball on the ground. Against Portugal and England, we will keep this wish to create on the ground and try to get the best possible result against these two favorites teams."

Sergio Diaz (Paraguay forward) : "Our goal, the final"

"We had many chances and we succeed to score three times. We followed the coach instructions and it worked. We are very pleased to take part to this tournament because we play against team we don't know. We form a good group and our goal is to reach the final, even if it will be tough."
