FIFA announces draw procedure for the Olympic Games 2016
FIFA has announced the draw procedure for the Rio Olympics. The 16 national teams qualified for Rio have been divided into four pots based on their performances during the past five Olympic Football Tournaments. The draw will take place on 14 April at the Maracanã Stadium (Brazil).
Pot 1: Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Japan
Pot 2: Nigeria, Republic of Korea, Honduras, Iraq
Pot 3: Sweden, Fiji, Portugal, South Africa
Pot 4: Algeria, Colombia, Denmark, Germany
It should be noted that the fixtures for the Toulon Tournament will be unveiled on 20 April at the Pitch International headquarters in London.
