Barzagli, the Juventus’ immovable object

Despite some injuries during his career, Andrea Barzagli, who took part in the Toulon Tournament 2002, has shown he’s still capable of playing at the highest level. The Juventus centre-back has already played 35 games in all competitions this season and he’s without doubt one of the most consistent players of the Old Lady. Reliable, the 34-year-old has helped Juventus to boast the best defensive record in Serie A (only 16 goals conceded) until now.

Meanwhile, the World Cup 2006 winner is also a reguler member of the Italy national team (56 caps) and unless something unexpected happens, he will play the Euro 2016. It will be his final international competition as he planned to retire from international football after the European Champiosnhip…
