He will never forget his 3rd international cap with the Albiceleste ! Gabriel Mercado, who took part in the Toulon Tournament 2006, has scored his first international goal with Argentina in the 2-1 victory over Chile during the World Cup 2018 qualifier this Friday. The River Plate defender fired a volley from close range to put his team ahead during the first half !
His goal secured a vital three points for Argentina. Thanks to this win, the Argentinians are now 4th of the South American qualifying competition for the World Cup 2018.
