Wendt, the Borussia Mönchengladbach’s pillar

Oscar Wendt, who took part in the 2004 Toulon Tournament, is without doubt one of the most consistent players of Borussia Mönchengladbach (Bundesliga). The 30-year-old established himself as a regular starter since joining the club in 2011 from FC Copenhagen (Denmark) on a free transfer. The Swedish left-back took part in 129 games in all competitions with the German side.  His consistency was rewarded by a contract extension last season until June 2018.
The Sweden international (25 caps) reaffirmed his status as Borussia Monchengladbach’s key player this season as he has been on the field for every single minute played in Bundesliga by his team during this current campaign.
