Piqueti marked his first Guinea-Bissau start with a spectacular goal

International tournaments can be breakthrough occasions for young players like Piqueti, who took part in the Toulon Tournament 2013 with Portugal.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder has been handed his first Guinea-Bissau start during the African Cup of Nations 2017 game against Cameroon (1-2) and the Sporting Braga player distinguished himself as he netted a tremendous goal !

The Guinea-Bissau international (3 caps, 1 goal) dribbled several players from his own half and finished his solo run with a powerful shot (see the video below) !

This goal wasn’t enough for Guinea-Bissau as Cameroon came from behind to beat them. However, this performance can be a massive boost for Piqueti who is struggling to force his way into the Sporting Braga first-team, playing regularly with the reserve team.
