AFCON U20 : Zambia clinched the title front of their fans

The African Cup of Nations U20 ended with the victory of Zambia as the competition’s hosts beat Senegal (2-0) during the final.

Hosts Zambia clinched their first ever African Cup of Nations U20 title as they earned a 2-0 win over Senegal. The Zambians made the difference in the first half. Brilliant throughout the competition, Patson Daka netted the opener after 15 minutes as the Zambia striker found the net after benefiting from a huge mistake of the Senegal goalie Lamine Sarr. Fifteen minutes later, Zambia doubled their lead after a new mistake from the Senegal’s defense. The clearance made by the Senegalese goalkeeper Lamine Sarr hit the Edward Chifulya’s back and the ball headed straight into his own net !
