OFFICIAL : Bahrain will compete in the Toulon Tournament 2017
We are delighted to announce that Bahrain will compete in the Toulon Tournament 2017 which will be held from 29 May to 10 June. The Toulon Tournament gives us the opportunity to discover new football talent from anywhere in the world. This year, we’ll keep a close eye on Bahrain as the Asian side will take part in the Festival for the first time.
Our competition can be a good opportunity for the Bahraini young players to gain some experience as they can test themselves against teams from across the world. Bahrain have produced some interesting displays during the AFC Championship U19 on October as they have reached the quarter-finals of the competition. They are aiming to confirm their good form in the upcoming Toulon Tournament.
Nine nations have already confirmed their place for the Toulon Tournament 2017 : Wales, Ivory Coast, Scotland, France, England, Mali, Japan, Czech Republic and Bahrain with the three remaining nations to be announced soon.
