We are delighted to announce that Angola will compete in the Toulon Tournament 2017 after 21 years of absence. Angola will take part in our competition for the 3rd time. The Palancas Negras have already competed in the Toulon Tournament in 1995 and 1996 and have finished 6th both times. The Angolan young players will come in the South of France to earn some international experience and prove that they can lead their country back to glory.

The Angola senior national team has enjoyed its best period at the end of the 2000’s as the African nation played the World Cup 2006 and reached the African Cup of Nations quarter-finals in 2006 and 2008.

Ten nations have already confirmed their place for the Toulon Tournament 2017 : Wales, Ivory Coast, Scotland, France, England, Japan, Czech Republic, Bahrain, Cuba and Angola with the two remaining nations to be announced soon.
