OFFICIAL : Indonesia will compete in the Toulon Tournament 2017
We are delighted to announce that a third Asian nation will compete in our competition this year. After Japan and Bahrain, Indonesia have confirmed their place for the Toulon Tournament 2017.
Just like Bahrain, Cuba and Wales, the Indonesians will take part in our tournament for the first time. The 45th edition of the Toulon Tournament will allow us to discover new talents from across the world !
Except the Asian Cup, the only international competition played by Indonesia were the Olympic Games in 1956. After years of struggling, the Indonesian national team is aiming to bounce back. That’s why the Asian side will come in the South of France from 29 May to 10 June to earn some experience at the international level.
Eleven nations have already confirmed their place for the Toulon Tournament 2017 : Wales, Ivory Coast, Scotland, France, England, Japan, Czech Republic, Bahrain, Cuba, Angola and Indonesia with the last remaining nation to be announced soon.
