21 years after their last participation at the Toulon Tournament, Angola are back in the Southern Francce this year. The African side is aiming to make a big splash according to the Angolan Football Federation vice-president Adão Costa.

“The Toulon Tournament is a competition from the top of the world football hierarchy. […] Because it is a showcase of the international football, the tournament should serve as a projection of the image of the country and allow the achievement of results that influence its ranking in the international ranking", he said to the Agência Angola Press (ANGOP).

As a reminder, Angola will face England, Japan and Cuba in the group B of the Toulon Tournament 2017.
