Cian Harries joins Swansea, few weeks after playing the Toulon Tournament

Cian Harries, who started two games with Wales at the Toulon Tournament 2017, is ready for a new challenge. The 20-year-old defender has moved from Coventry City (League One) to Swansea City in a three-year-deal, the Premier League club have announced on their website.

The young Welshman, who played 16 games in all competitions last season with Coventry City, will initially play with the Swansea’s development squad.

“My aim in the long term is to play in the Premier League. If I am lucky enough and good enough for the manager to trust me at some stage in the future, that would be a dream come true. But I am going into the development squad and that’s good. I feel it will give me a chance to work on the areas where I need to improve”, Harries said to the Swansea official website.
