When he played the Toulon Tournament in 2016 with Japan, Daichi Kamada was relatively unknown. However, the 21-year-old midfielder made a name for himself over the last months with Sagan Tosu in J-League (Japanese First Division).
Seduced by his fine performances in the Japanese top-flight, the German side Eintracht Frankfurt signed him this summer in a four-year-deal. This move to the Bundesliga is obviously a great opportunity for Kamada to continue his development in order to earn potentially his first Japan call-up in a near future.
To reach this goal, Kamada has to play regularly with Eintracht Frankfurt and everything seems to be going in the right direction as the Japanese player made his debut on this week-end during the 3-0 win over Erndtebrück in a German Cup game.
