Badr Banoun has enjoyed some exciting moments over the last days. Initially not named in the Morocco’s squad, the 24-year-old defender has been called up by the head coach Hervé Renard after several withdrawals.
The Toulon Tournament 2015 runner-up has seized the opportunity to make his international debut with Les Lions de l’Atlas. The Raja Casablanca player came off the bench during the Morocco’s 3-0 win over Gabon in their World Cup 2018 qualifier.
Few days later, Banoun earned his second international cap as he started the friendly played against South Korea (3-1) on this Tuesday.
These two games will provide without doubt a real confidence boost for Banoun !
