Ricardo Esgaio has taken the Liga NOS by storm

Ricardo Esgaio has decided this summer to leave his childhood club Sporting Lisbon to join Sporting Braga in order to earn regular first-team football. Few months later, we can say that the 24-year-old has taken a right decision.

Used as a right back or right winger, the Portuguese player is impressing the Liga NOS’ observers since the start to the season. Ricardo Esgaio, who took part in the Toulon Tournament 2013, is leading the Portuguese top-flight assists charts as he delivered 5 assists in this current campaign.

Esgaio has also distinguished himself this season with a stunner scored against Deportivo Aves (2-0) on August.

The Nazaré-born is enjoying a promising start to life at Braga : he has already established himself as a key player for his new team. Meanwhile, the Arcebispos are currently fourth of la Liga NOS and second of their group in the Europa League.
