Leicester City are certainly monitoring the progress of their youngster Harvey Barnes. Winner and joint top-scorer of the Toulon Tournament 2017, the 19-year-old midfielder has penned a four-year contract extension this summer with Leicester City before to be loaned out to the Championship side Barnsley.
The Burnley-born is making the most of this loan as he shining with the Tykes. Barnes is the current Barnsley’s top scorer with 4 goals scored in 12 goals. The English starlet distinguished himself as he netted some stunners this season.
Barnes made the headlines on August with his goal against Sunderland (3-0) and impressed the observers again one month later against Queens Park Rangers (1-1).
The Leicester loanee stole the show once again on the last week-end during the derby against Sheffield Wednesday (1-1).
It seems like Barnes is ready to fulfill the potential he showed in the south of France this summer with the Young Three Lions.
