SC Corinithians clinched their 7th Brasileirao title after their 3-1 win over Fluminense. The Timao had a nightmare start as Fluminense took the lead after two minutes only but they eventually came from behind thanks to Jô.

The 30-year-old striker has netted twice to put his team ahead while Jadson added another goal in the last minutes.

Jô was pivotal to Corinthians' success as he netted 18 goals in 32 league games in this current campaign. Except the Brazilian League title, the Brazil international (20 caps, 5 goals) has collected some trophies during his career : one Brazilian Cup (Atletico Mineiro), one Russian league and two Russian Cups (CSKA Moscow) as well as a FA Cup (Manchester City).

The Sao Paulo-born has come a long way since 2004, when he played the Toulon Tournament.
