Oliver Burke, who joined West Bromwich Albion this summer from RB Leipzig for a reported fee of €17M, has eventually made his first Premier League start. Before this week-end, the 20-year-old attacking midfielder has managed only five substitute appearances in the league with the Baggies due to the injuries.
The Scotland international (5 caps) has started his first game in the British top-flight on this Sunday against Manchester Unitd (1-2). Despite the loss against the Red Devils, Burke offered encouraging glimpses of his natural ability on the ball.
The Burke’s aim is now to cement his place in the WBA’s starting line-up and confirm the potential showed in the south of France during the Toulon Tournament 2017.
