After a 1-0 win front of their fans in the first leg, Millonarios earned a 2-2 draw against Santa Fe in the final’s second leg to claim the Colombian League title, the 15th in their history.

Alexis Zapata, who played the Toulon Tournament in 2014, helped the Bogota-based club to clinch the trophy as he played eight league games this season.

This is the first major trophy won by the 22-year-old attacking midfielder who played previously for Udinese (Serie A) during the 2014-2015 campaign.
