Few days after unveiling the Turkey’s participation, we are delighted to announce that Japan will compete in the Toulon Tournament 2018 which will be held from 26th May to 9th June. The Japanese national team will take part in our competition for the 13th time.
The young Samuraï Blue will come in the South of France in order to prepare the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The Toulon Tournament will be an opportunity for the Japanese players to gain international experience and test themselves against national teams from all around the world.
As a reminder, the Toulon Tournament 2018 will feature 12 teams placed in 3 four-team groups. The three top teams of each group as well as the best second placed team (of all the groups) will advance to the semi-finals. Meanwhile, the other teams will play another game to determine their final ranking in the competition.
