Only few days after his arrival at Toronto FC from Sao Paulo, Auro made his first appearance with the Major League Soccer champions.

The 22-year-old defender, winner of the Toulon Tournament in 2014, has played his first ever CONCACAF Champions League game against the American side Colorado Rapids (2-0) on this Wednesday.

The Brazilian right-back has repaid his coach’s confidence as he produced a stunning performance and distinguished himself by setting up the Toronto’s second goal netted by the Toulon Tournament 2008 best player Sebastian Giovinco.

Despite the cold temperature (-13°C !), Auro has met the expectations.
