After narrowly avoiding the relegation during the last season, Shimizu S-Pulse opted for a rejuvenation of their squad for the J-League’s new season which started few days ago.
Yugo Tatsuta, who took part in the Toulon Tournament 2017, is one of the youngsters who benefited from this new club strategy. The 19-year-old Japanese defender made his J-League debut at the end of February against Kashima Antlers (0-0).
After producing a solid performance against the runners-up of the last campaign, Tatsuta made the headlines on the last week-end against Vissel Kobe (4-2) as he netted his first goal at the professional level !
Two games started and already one goal scored : Tatsuta couldn’t have had a better experience for his first steps in the Japanese top-flight.
