Drawn in the Group A of the Toulon Tournament 2018 alongside Qatar (26th May), England (29th May) and China (1st June), the Mexican players are preparing their arrival in the south of France.
The Mexico U21 national team ramps up the preparations with two friendlies against the LIGA MX side Lobos BUAP (defeat 6-1) and the Cruz Azul reserve team (victory 3-1) during the latest international break.
The opportunity for some Mexico hopefuls to prove they deserve a spot for the Maurice Revello Tournament. We think about the Atlas youngster José Avila de Santiago, who scored against Cruz Azul, as well as the Chivas Guadalajara player Ronaldo Cisneros. The latter seems to confirm the potential showed at the World Cup U20 few months ago.
