While the Mexicans are continuing their preparations for the Toulon Tournament 2018, Roberto Alvarado has publicly claimed the desire to be on the plane to France on May.
The Mexico U21 international, who established himself as a key player for the Liga MX side Necaxa (23 league games played this season), has praised the Maurice Revello Tournament.
“A big part of the best players in the world took part in this tournament and I hope I will play this competition as well. It will be an honor to represent my country”, the 19-year-old promising midfielder said to the Mexican outlet El Sol de Salamanca.
Absent from the last edition, Mexico will play the Toulon Tournament in order to prepare the Central American and Caribbean Games organized in Colombia.
“The Maurice Revello Tournament is a big opportunity that I don’t want to miss, in addition to being a good preparation ahead of the Central American and Caribbean Games”, said Alvarado.
As a reminder, Mexico will face Qatar (26th May), England (29th May) and China (1st June) at the Toulon Tournament 2018.
