Assalé, Pizarro, Pulido… une semaine dorée pour les anciens du Festival !
Cette semaine aura été forte en émotions pour certains joueurs passés par le Festival International Espoirs. Du Mexique à la Suisse en passant par la Serbie, plusieurs anciens du Tournoi Maurice Revello ont eu le bonheur de remporter un titre ces derniers jours.
Outre-Atlantique, Chivas Guadalajara a décroché jeudi la deuxième Ligue des Champions CONCACAF face au Toronto FC et peut remercier de nombreux éléments passés par le Tournoi Maurice Revello. Alan Pulido et Rodolfo Pizzaro ont marqué les deux buts du club mexicain (2-1) lors du match aller tandis qu’Angel Zaldivar a inscrit le tir au but victorieux au match retour (1-2, 4-2 pen). A noter que Carlos Cisneros a également pris à cette double confrontation face au club canadien.
Ce samedi, Roger Assalé et le Young Boys ont été sacrés champions de Suisse pour la première fois depuis trente-deux ans après leur succès contre Lucerne (2-1) ! L’international ivoirien, passé par le Festival International Espoirs en 2015, aura été l’un des éléments-clés de ce titre comme en témoigne son bilan de 12 buts et 11 passes décisives en 30 matchs de championnat.
Ce week-end a également vu le sacre de l’Etoile Rouge de Belgrade en Serbie. Un succès auquel aura fortement contribué Damien Le Tallec, le milieu français de 28 ans, titulaire indiscutable tout au long de la saison.
