Aidy Boothroyd (England head coach) : "We looked like we were on holidays"

After the England win over China in the first game of the group A (2-1), Aidy Boothroyd was satisfied with the result but not with the display :

"We wanted to win so we fought until the last minute. It was a difficult game, we knew from the start that they're very organized, very professional. They try to slow the game down. I think in the end, the best team won, this is a fair result.
I think the fact that we come back to the Tournament and we play in a different whether implies we have to get used and acclimatize to that. I think in the first half we all looked like we were on holidays. The second half was much better. When you start a tournament, it's important to not lose the first game and get some points. We missed some pace in our passing. But it has to be understood".
