Sun Jihai (sélectionneur de la Chine) : « Le résultat n'est pas l'objectif principal »
Menée durant toute la rencontre, la Chine a arraché le match nul face au Qatar mardi à Salon-de-Provence (1-1). Sun Jihai a donné son sentiment sur la rencontre.
"En réalité, le résultat n'est pas l'objectif principal quand vous jouez ici. Nous sommes heureux d'avoir l'opportunité de jouer contre d'autres pays et affronter le niveau mondial. On doit être meilleur tactiquement.
Le Qatar et l'Angleterre sont deux adversaires différents. L'Angleterre est plus phyisique, joue plus lentement. Le Qatar était plus déterminé à gagner que nous. Ils nous ont beaucoup pressé. Je pense que nous devons jouer comme lors de notre premier match.
Ne jamais abandonner, c'est un point sur lequel nous insistons toujours auprès des joueurs. Il faut toujours se battre jusqu'au coup de sifflet final."
