Muzaffer Bilazer (Turkey head coach) : « We have to stay strong »

Defeated by Canada (0-1), Turkey didn't confirm after their first win over Japan. Muzaffer Bilazer, the Turkish head coach, expressed his disappointment after the game.

"We played against a strong opponent. They were good physically. We didn't expect such an adversity. In second half, we changed our plan. We tried to work hard until the end. Our goal was not to keep the score, we wanted to to win. But Canada increased the pressure and it gave this final result. Congratulations to them.

I watch the first game of Canada. This is a team who put the pressure in the duels but who also struggles at scoring. To block them, we tried to play forward. My players did some big efforts. They won't give up. We still have a chance. I advice my players them to stay strong and work hard."
