João Virginia (Portugal goalkeeper) : « It's very frustrating »

The young goalkeeper João Virginia reacted after the loss of his team against Japan (2-3). A defeat which difficult to accept for the Portuguese team.

"Take two goals on only two shots on target, for a goalkeeper, it’s very frustrating. Our team deserved to win this game, we played the best we could. We have done opposition, but they scored both goal in a too short time. They were more efficient on any strategic points, but we had to keep the rhythm during the match.

The team played with a good strategy and had the ball possession. We can see the other players are good, we played well with each others and we have a strong group.

It’s great tournament and it’s great opportunity for me and my team to be here and to play against other young players. It’s a good opportunity for developing. We have to take this chance which is offered to us."
